A Place of Grace

From the moment you walk in the door, you’re family. No one is a stranger and you’re bound to be greeted with a firm handshake and a smile. Everyone is welcome and there is a seat waiting just for you. 

Faith Temple is a non-denominational Christian church with a rich history. Rev. James H. Thompson (1928-2011) served as the founding pastor of this fellowship, serving for almost 29 years. In December of 1956, about 200 people began meeting in a old store building and in 1957, construction began on the original sanctuary (now used as the Children’s Ministries building). In December of 1957, the group began meeting on this site. The larger sanctuary now used was constructed in 1979. 

Raymond D. Burrows serves as the church’s pastor today, beginning his ministry at this location in November, 1995. He conducts three services per week plus a Bible Study class and a televised teaching broadcast, in addition to ministering to the congregation as needs arise. Several arms of outreach extend from this fellowship, with an emphasis on missions, both foreign and domestic. Currently there are at least 12 ministries to which this fellowship contributes on a monthly basis.
